For Contractors & Vendors
TruPoint runs competitive bids for HOA and condo boards across the Twin Cities metro. The specs are clear, the bids are sealed and opened together, and the decisions are documented. Firms on our bench get a fair shot at real projects and a straight answer either way. We keep a vetted internal bench, not a public directory. Boards do not browse a list; we match the right firms to the right work.
The Standard
The TruPoint Transparency Pledge
Every contractor and vendor on our bench takes this pledge before they see a single project. It is signed, dated, and kept on file.
My pricing is real. The number I give is the number I stand behind, and every fee in it is visible to the board.
I pay no undisclosed referral fees and I accept none. If money moves between me and anyone connected to a project, the board knows in writing.
I report what the building needs. Not more because it pays better, not less because it wins the bid.
I respect the sealed bid. I do not fish for other bidders' numbers, and I do not ask for a second bite after the envelopes open.
My license and insurance stay current, and my certificates are on file before I set foot on a property.
My change orders are documented, priced, and justified before the work happens, not after.
I disclose any relationship that could create a conflict of interest, or could reasonably be seen as one, on any project where I am in front of a board, before the board makes its decision.
I give boards straight answers, even when the answer is 'I do not know' or 'That is not my trade.'
Signed and on file with TruPoint HOA Consulting LLC.
The pledge runs both ways. Read the board-facing Transparency Pledge.
Admission
What it takes to get on the bench
Admission is by our review, not automatic. Before a firm sees its first project we collect: the signed Transparency Pledge, a current certificate of insurance, an active license where the trade requires one, a completed W-9, and references we actually call. We keep the bench small on purpose. The standard is firms we would put in front of our own boards.
Specialty Trades
Subcontractors welcome
Not every great firm is a prime. Specialty subs can join the bench as pairable partners, matched with prime contractors on projects where the trade fits. Same pledge, same standards, same straight answer.
